COMBINATION SKIN

Combination skin can be hard to manage. If your skin is oily in some places, like the T-zone, but dry in other areas, like your cheeks and jaw, you likely have combination skin. It's essential to choose products that hydrate while also balancing excess oil - exactly what you'll find in the products listed here.

Frequently Asked Questions

What skincare is best for combination skin? / How to treat combination skin?

Combination skin is characterised by areas of dryness (often on the cheeks) in combination with oily areas (often on the forehead, nose, and chin, commonly referred to as the T-zone). As such, it is slightly more difficult to treat than normal, dry, or oily skin.  While it is most common to see an oily T-Zone in combination skin, this is not always the case.

We recommend using gentle products that are suitable for all skin types, and using different products on the different areas of your skin - for example, a lightweight moisturiser that controls oil on your forehead, nose, and chin, and a thicker, more hydrating moisturiser on your cheeks.

Are oil cleansers good for combination skin?

Yes, oil cleansers are good for combination skin because they help to remove impurities such as dirt, excess sebum, makeup, and SPF without stripping skin of its natural oils.

What type of moisturiser is best for dry skin type?

We recommend that those with combination skin seek out lightweight moisturisers such as gel-based creams or lotions, which offer hydration without feeling too heavy on the skin.
